My first concert ever was when I was in Jr. High and my mom took me to a Rockapella concert in Joplin, MO (Yes, THE Rockapella of Carmen Sandiego fame). And ya know what? It was fun cause they're really good. I'd probably still enjoy them in concert, although I think only 2 of the original people are still in it. Good night I'm a nerd...

My first concert was Living Sacrifice, Project86 (like a month after the release of their selftitle), and some band I can't remember how to spell. I think I was eight years old.

My first real concert was Bride at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland when I was 14. I saw Carman a few years earlier than that though. But I shouldn't let that out... But I ran audio at a large church in Ohio for a long time, so many CCM artists came through there and I saw them all for free and got to go backstage for a few like Rebecca St.James, etc. Hoo-ray. Happy.
But then Stavesacre makes it all ok.

Sandi Patti. Rockford, IL. Probably around 1993. Ouch.
My first REAL concert was The Aquabats/The Hippos/Allister in Freeport IL in 1999.
I think I saw MercyMe and Ballydowse (seperately) before that, but they were in churches, and everybody was sitting down, so... yeah.

When I was in Jr. High, the girl that I really liked scored tickets to the Debbie Gibson concert on her Electric Youth tour. I try not to tell many people I went to that. That was my first concert experience.
My first concert experience that I will openly admit to anyone was An Evening With Metallica in January of 1991. That ruled.
My first "Christian" concert was in October 1993 w/ The Prayer Chain and The Violet Burning. Native Son also played. And if my memory serves me correctly Mortal performed as well. It was the Rock For Love concert at the University of Riverside.

Ok...and here is where I blush...my first concert ever was the Creation Festival in PA and the very first artist I saw was Mylon LeFevre. This was 1987. I was in the 7th grade.
However, my first REAL rock show was....The Crucified and Mortal here in Dallas. Some old Christian "club" can't even remember the name of it. It was out by DFW airport.

My first concert was the Acapella Vocal Band (AVB). They had smoke (!) on the stage and were dancing (!). I still have the poster for that concert autographed by all of them. I still listen to AVB sometimes.
But yeah, I think I saw some other concerts at the state fair when I was younger, like BJ Thomas (anybody remember him) and stuff. But my first real concert was Squad 5-O at the Cog Factory in Omaha. That was like maybe 2000 or 1999. I think I saw the DC Talk supernatural tour also, but I don't remember when that was.

I think it was Ray Boltz, I was 4 or 5. Then a couple years later I saw Jars of Clay on their first tour.

First concert was Newsboys/Audio Adrenaline in Champaign, IL, in 2000, i think. The next one was Third Day/Skillet and several other bands at a festival in southern IL. So yeah, I've only really been listening to music for four or five years. The 19 years prior were sadly wasted... *sheds a tear for the years without Stavesacre and other good music*

I was a big fan of Petra when I was 12. I have learned the error of and repented for my ways.
And if anyone tells anyone about this, I'll hunt you down and give you an Indian burn. Maybe.

First concert ever Die Kruezen, Boy Dirt Car, and Diddley Squat at an abandon warehouse back in like 1985 or so.... Die Kruezen absolutely blew me away. They put out a bunch of crap albums, but thier self titled album absolutely RULED!!! Saw Ted Nugent around that time. I believe i had been to see The Imperials prior but was dragged there, so i dont know if that counts... plus i am so old now I hardly remember... ;D

CARMEN! Jes that is funny. My sister confessed to me and my brother in law that she went to a show of his, so we made fun of her. But I won't make fun of you b/c I'm scared of you. I'm not going to say my first show, it's way more embarrising than that. But I was 5 years old and without a choice!

My first concert was Fold Zandura/Seven Day Jesus.
I saw Stave w/ Puller about 4 months later. It has been a good, good time filled with several good, good shows.
I love Project also---they were just in Omaha, and it was a good, good show.....
I'm gonna stop now, so good-goodbye.
I'm a nerd.

Stryper at Alpine Valley in '87 or '88. I asked my dad to take me and he still talks about how loud it was! Haha. Poor guy. We were right in front of the speakers. Great concert. I still love those guys. They are a classic. C'mon people..admit it...Stryper rocks. ;D
