According to the myspace there was a show in California this past weekend. Did anyone make it out? Just one of the many times I wish I wasn't on the other side of the continent (Lassie Foundation were playing a show as well)

And was the new EP available at the show? Any update on when it'll be on Amazon, iTunes, Zambooie?

The EP and DVD were not available at the show. I didn't hear anything about when either will be released, but they are both done and awaiting to be manufactured. Everyone at the show was invited to join the band for a screening of the DVD immediately following the set. While I wasn't able to stick around , I did see the DVD menu on the TV and it contained the same pic that is currently on the Stavesacre homepage along with the title "Against the Silence" The show itself was great fun. Below is the setlist Future History of the Broken Hearted Bull Takes Fighter It's Beautiful (Once Your're Out Here) The Dash on My Headstone An Eclipsing Rivers Underneath Gold and Silver Against The Silence Blind Hope Keep Waiting At The Moment Kill My Darlings

awesome. thanks for the update! btw, i dont think they'd need a manufacturer in order to sell the EP on iTunes and Amazon mp3. They could get that set up in the meantime. They'd get extra sales from folks like me who will buy the mp3s now and then want a hard copy once the EP is actually released on CD.

Based on all the delays, You almost wonder if there's still some contractual obligations with the parent company of Abacus. Wonder if they owed them some more material and may not be legally allowed to self-release the material.

Abacus is done and gone. No longer a label.
I believe the EP will be released through Zambooie.

Think about it. . . Neon Horse, The Crucified both come out on T&N this year. Mark and the band had a thing with The Nail, but each are putting out albums this year on that label. I think we are going to see it on Tooth and Nail. That's why it is taking so long.

I hope so. I don't think there has been a more influential band in my life that these guys. I think the time is ripe for the acre to blow the doors off. I thought that ever since I saw them at Tooth & Nail Fest I @ Azuza.
