i didn't vote last time because bull takes fighter wasn't listed. now that it's listed i have voted. i made the poll last time and didn't list bull takes fighter because it is not an "album". when voting on favorite albums, i think it needs to be full-length studio LPs. stavesacre has 5 of these.

why did everybody leave? Was it when the band stopped playing? A little while before HtLWaC was released. The boards picked up a little bit when it came out, but has since died off. And then add that the main website not being updated in years (and now down for an extended period). Anymore we have about one or two new threads, and about 20 new posts a month. This thread probably doubled the number of posts for the month so far.

I had to throw my love towards friction, although in reality, absolutes and speakeasy are just about tied in first as well.

I had to go with Absolutes too, but it sure is hard to choose. Absolutes would be perfect if it had one more additional song instead of the Wither reprise. I had this on the other day and thought how great it still sounded. It could easily be something that is released now instead of nearly 12 years ago!

While I have remained faithful (as many others have) there are lots of fans that seemed to lose interest after the self-titled. I'm not blaming that album as there are a lot of other factors. I think there was the poorly done split ep, then leaving the Christian music scene (which I totally understood), the self-titled that was harder to come by followed by four years until their next full length. Bull Takes Fighter was great but only diehards will order something directly from the band. I think Stavesacre has a tremendous legacy and this new ep will add to it and I will do what I've always done, brag about em and hope more discover what it is that I love about their music. I too wish that there was more to talk about in these threads but with such little happening for them over the past few years it is understandable why we don't have many people posting.
