I don't think AP and AP2 count as they more of a one-off type projects even though the second was a "sequel". Dirk would give us The Emergency and Focused. Jason would give SF59, Bon Voyage, Dance House Children and Brothers Martin. Sam would provide a few more bands. Scaterd Few, Violet Burning, Saviour Machine. Alex Albert was in Innermeans and P86. That's a total of 15. Plus these guys were probably in much smaller projects from time to time as well that we've probably never heard of. But then again it's mostly speculation as to who's in or not. Personally, I think it's just kinda fun kicking around some names aside from Mark and Jason. Since we're talking Alex Albert... he's in Crash Rickshaw as well.

Somebody did a song-publishing search on Neon Horse (on ASCAP) and noted that Jason Martin and Mark Salomon are listed as songwriters for all of NH's material. So that half of the band is a for sure thing.

And that was the easy half.
As was stated earlier, Jason Martin could have even done the bass and drums if he wanted.

Like all other good things I think this band is dead.

No new news on tooth and nail. No new news on myspace. Last logged into myspace 9/20/07, while Stavesacre's last login is 10/03/07. Not looking good for Neon Horse. It wouldn't be unlikely that this was just a one-shot deal, though. Neon Horse kinda came out of nowhere at the beginning... maybe there's a second album in the works, and it will also come out of nowhere. Or maybe Mark's too busy with the final Stavesacre album/dvd to mess with Neon Horse.

I know Jason Martin is rummored to be in NH, which he could completely be, but one thing I have noticed from the new Project86 music is that the guitars sound alot like NH stuff. Listen to some of the songs on the new EP even Rival Fractions. So I'm saying Randy Torres has alot to do with NH as well...any thoughts?

well Jason Martin did engineer (and play keys on) a few of the songs on Rival Factions (and comparing with their previous stuff, you can certainly hear his mark on that release) I know Jason Martin is rummored to be in NH, which he could completely be, but one thing I have noticed from the new Project86 music is that the guitars sound alot like NH stuff. I saw Neon Horse play last night at HOB Anaheim opening up for Project 86. Here was the lineup.
Mark Salomon aka Norman Horse lead vocals Sam West on drums (I am 99% sure it was him, they were all wearing cheesy 'staches and sunglasses etc.) Steven Dail on guitar (bassist from Project) Jason Martin on guitar computer with keys and bass set up
They were good live. They played a short and sweet set of about 7 songs off their album.
"Hey let's all welcome the newbie Captain Chaos"

I certainly didn't expect Sam on drums. That's quite a surprise!

yes I was very surprised to see Sam on drums. It took me like halfway into their first song to figure out that it was him and I wouldn't have even figured it out that quickly had my friend not said "hey isn't that the drummer from Stavesacre?" I think because I hadn't heard his name mentioned in relation to Neon Horse I wasn't expecting to see him.
