Since I live in the middle of nowhere, I have to ask this question.
Does music only get released on CD and/or vinyl nowadays? Or are cassettes still being produced?
thanks in advance

I honestly dont know about larger bands and tapes... but I DO know that there are lots of crappy hardcore bands that put their stuff out on cassette tapes still... not sure if this is because it is "cool" or cheap.

Ms. Smallz-Dodds, our local Family Video posts quotes at the front desk from movies. If you guess the movie, you win a free rental. Last weeks quote, " Your killing me, Smalls!" I had to laugh!

I'd imagine it's not on a large scale. Cassette decks (players) aren't all that commonly sold in stores as far as I've seen.
I recently put all of my cassettes into bins in my basement. Occasionally, I'll have a desire to hear something on one of them, but I hadn't played them regularly in a long time.
