I'm pretty sure Mark's voice is more amazing than any time before.

Since the Self-titled, I'd wager.
Multi-tracked voice is back. Hallelujah.

I'm more excited about the production on the music than anything. His vocals in my opinion don't need anything. On the whole, however, I agree- Bryan Carlstrom is the man.

Production on the self-titled was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced in conjunction with the word Stavesacre. Bryan Carlstrom is back, and so is my joy

Carlstrom = thunderous percussion, multitracked vocals, powerful bass and guitars.
The Self-titled stripped everything down in favor of pumping up Dirk's bass to an overpowering degree. It's all about the synthesis, guys.

So busy at work that I missed this until now. Must ... check ... email ... and ... the ... message ... board ... more ... often!
Welcome back Stavesacre! The short clips whetted our tongues. Hearing a few new ones live a few weeks ago was quite cool. But now we have a full-length track. Can't wait to hear more.
P.S. - Mark is a great lyricist. I hope he doesn't mind me saying it ... so much thought and purpose put into every line.

hey, that description in the bio is spot on.
"The band has long been considered by Southern California music press and thousands of ardent fans to be the best band you've never heard of, due to the group's fervent underground following. Excellent songwriting, musicianship and a full throttle live show have established them as a rock tour de force."
