So has anyone seen this movie yet, cause like. WOW! The story totally holds this movie together. It's based on a true tale, and it had a lot of cool points within the story. It made me think about the bible and some of the opposition that those biblical hero's had to face.
Anyways, It's pretty safe to say that from here on out this thread will be a movie spoiler. So if your wanting to see the movie but don't want to know about it. Don't read past this point.

The movie was quite ridiculous in a good way. I don't think the story was really that strong but the visuals were definitely the selling point. My friend and I walked out feeling like we should strangle a squirrel and then work out for 3 hours.
Will probably be played in short clips before every high school football game as a motivator.

I guess what I meant when I said the story holds the movie together, is so many times we see a movie with cool affects, and the story doesn't line up with what we're seeing on the screen.
I know what you mean about being adrenalized by that movie though. At times during the show, I was getting such massive body rushes that I was cracking up laughing as the body's were flying apart. The part that stuck out to me in the story was how in the end all the king wanted was to be remembered in history. Well, he'll be remembered now! I could picture him saying "A guys, that's not how it went."
I would have to say my favorite scene was when the guy was getting ready to use his whip, and that dude comes flying through the air with his sword and cuts the whip arm off.

I saw this a week or so ago, and found it to be a decent movie. It held pretty true to the graphic novel (except for the pointless stuff about the queen, which was added to lengthen the story). I didn't think it was nearly as bloody/gory/adrenaline-filled as people had made it out to be.
