I don't see how it couldn't be Mark.

Hm. It does sound like Mark in the chorus if he was really trying to sound like Robert Smith, but until further confirmation I don't think it is. The biography of the band doesn't seem to point that direction.
Mark or not, that's pretty cool stuff and probably some of the weirdest stuff T&N's signed in a long while (JE doesn't count, they've been around since the "glory days"). HOpefully they're not as shallow as some other T&N artists lyrically but the music is rad.

Do you say that because you think it sounds like Mark, or because you KNOW that it's Mark?

Listened to the track a few times today. I think what I didn't catch before is that there are two vocalists. The second, deeper vocals do indeed sound Mark-esque, with a very Cure spin.
Is Neon Horse the "rock" equivalent of Demon Hunter - a "superstar" band comprised of various T&N alumni? The guitar line strikes me as Jason Martin (sf59.) Curiouser and curiouser. Mystery aside though, the song rocks. I'll be picking this up in May.

Supposedly Norman Horse. My buddy is highly confident that it is indeed Mark.

And why would he start up another band so soon after Stavesacre? I can't see it, if this Neon Horse band is full time band, that is. I tend to think it isn't him. I'd also prefer to think he isn't in a new project with music that I really can't enjoy at all.

remember outer circle mark remade when he was still in stavesacre. so why could he not get an early jump on a new band if the acre is done?
