 Stavesacre file respository
« Thread Started on Mar 9, 2007, 12:51am »

Since there's a lot of new members recently, and a lot of old returning members, I thought this might be a good idea. Over the years, there's been several rare/long lost files (wallpapers, mp3s, etc) posted on these boards. Many of those links are long since dead, and are thus inaccessible to new members. So, I recently reupped the files I had so that all could partake.

If anyone has any more stuff, feel free to post a link, or get the files to me so I can add them to the webspace. Mirrors are also always appreciated. I'll be modifying this post as things are added.

As in the past, if any of this stuff is copyrighted, or the guys don't want it to be shared, just give the word and I'll take it down. Most of this stuff, though, no one has ever said anything about.

===========================
Stavesacre Folder
This is just the mediafire folder that has all the following files in it, just so you don't have to click on a bunch of the following links.

Stavesacre folder

All Stars and City Lights
a bootleg recording of Stavesacre's performance at Tomfest 1997. Originally released on Rotten Audio Recordings (or something like that), but no longer available.

http://www.mediafire.com/?iwaxj4zycne

1995 Demos
The first (?) demos of what would eventually be Tranewreck, At the Moment, and Suffocate Me. Released in 1995 as hidden tracks on The Crucified's album "The Power of God."

http://www.mediafire.com/?wewrm0xlb4x

RadioU show
Bootleg of Stavesacre performance on 6-11-2000 (as recently posted by Shankle)

http://www.mediafire.com/?jxchxdme9mx

Enemy Ships - Emergency
Name/album might be switched around, as no one ever seemed sure which one was which. This was (as I understood it) an unreleased album from "Dirk's other band". Also featured Jason Martin (of starflyer 59) on guitar.

OR

Misc
Includes Wake Us Up (demo), World to Wait (demo), and Paint It Black (Rolling Stones cover)

Oh, that Emergency/Enemy Ship thing is two different names for the same band. They never had a name for the actual album.

Hi Jake. I'm on a Mac and I didn't have any issues.

Get the newest version of Stuffit Expander - it handles RARs.

Is this how it was? I knew that the first song was called "Theme Song", and has the word emergency in it quite a bit, but didn't know if that "theme" referred to the band, the album, or what.

And mac's can't handle rars? That's news to me. Then again, I'm a pc user, and just use winrar. If there's too big of a problem, I probably could just up them as zips as well.

I have the Paint It Black cover, but didn't know the "acceptability" of posting it. I dont' know if This Madness has ever actually been available for download...

EDIT: Paint it Black is now in the "misc" folder, along with demos of World to Wait and Wake Us Up). Again, if the guys would rather these not be posted, let me know, and they'll be gone.

I'm looking for the two videos I had of the early versions of Keep Waiting and From Hand to Hand. No luck so far. Does anyone else happen to have them from earlier?

And thanks aetherial. I downloaded it and got the stuff I was missing. I'm not as computer literate as I used to be.

jakerad, I've got the videos you mentioned, as well as an assortment of other stuff that I've collected over the past few years that I'll try and get posted tonight. Some of it I can't view at the moment due to format (RealMedia, bleh) and I've got some stuff saved multiple times under different names, etc. I'll try and get it cleaned up and hosted somewhere for download in a little bit though.

Jason Martin and Dirk Lemmenes together? Man, I gotta get that. StarFlyer59 is one of my Top10 bands.

BrokenCarnage - Where did YOU get the Emergency/EnemyShip thing?
